This Privacy Policy explains how Flifup ("we", "us", the "App") handles your information when you use the App. Flifup is provided by Flifup, based in Chattogram, Bangladesh. By using Flifup, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information we collect
Flifup works without an account. You don't sign in or log in, and we don't ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the App. The information below is stored locally on your device (using your device's local / async storage).
Content you create
Tasks, habits, goals, focus sessions, journal entries, categories, and any images you add. This content is saved on your device so the App works for you — it is not uploaded to our servers.
Notifications
With your permission, the App schedules reminders for your tasks and habits using device notifications. You can turn these off any time in your device settings.
Technical data
Basic device and diagnostic information needed to run the App reliably. We do not use this to identify you, and we do not sell your data.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the App's features (tasks, habits, goals, focus, journal).
- To store your content on your device so it's there when you return.
- To send reminders and notifications you have enabled.
- To maintain security and improve reliability and performance.
4. Third-party services
Because Flifup is local-first, we rely on very few third parties. Each has its own privacy policy:
Expo / notifications infrastructure
Used to deliver the device notifications you enable.
Google Play Services
Used for app distribution and basic reliability diagnostics on Android.
Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager)
Used only on this website (flifup.com) to understand aggregate, anonymous visits — such as page views and which buttons are used — so we can improve the page. We never send your name, email, or any personal details, and GA4 does not store your IP address. This does not apply to the app itself.
We do not use Google Sign-In or Facebook Login, and Flifup does not require you to create an account with any of these services.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Since your content stays on your device, there is normally nothing for us to share. We only share information with the service providers listed above as needed to operate the App, or when required by law.
6. Data retention & deletion
Your content stays on your device for as long as you keep it. You are always in control: you can delete individual items in the App, or remove all Flifup data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the App from your device. 7. Children's privacy
Flifup is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Because your data is stored on your device, its security also depends on your device's own protections (such as a screen lock). No method of storage is 100% secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
